Well, after raving about the joys of internet shopping I have found out that half my presents haven't arrived :-(

They'll be Valentine presents at this rate.

I am going deep into end of book cave - so I may be gone some time :-)  I must remember never to mix school holidays and deadlines again!!

Carol, how very upsetting. It's so hard when you want to send presents to family and friends overseas and you rely on companies to deliver them and then they don't!

Carol, I hate that! The thing I've found about internet shopping is it's so good and so fast - even overseas. Rotten this should happen at Christmas time!

Meanwhile, I've just emerged from my own cave. Sorry to see you going into it. We will have to coordinate schedules better!

PS: except, love your books, so maybe get in that cave and stay there a wee while:-))

it was upsetting - I am not worried about refund or voucher - I just want them to send the presents *with* a note, telling them that for once it wasn't me that stuffed up cxxx

I just got an email and I am very happy to report that my gifts are about to be sent!
Honestly, the email was about as excited as I am feeling - and I can't wait for family and friends to get my belated gift - what's new???
