Loose Ends
I am deep, deep, deep in a book!
Which, for me, means phone reminders to pick up kids from school, post it notes to remind me to shop to feed them, top on inside out… yes, *that* stage of the book.
Still, I did promise to be back this week, so, here I am. Thankfully, technology hasn't advance so much that you can see me as I blog!
The Desert King's Housekeeper Bride is my first sheikh romance. I am going to be blogging about it at iheartpresents on Feb 10th, so I won't double up, I would love to see you there though!
I do remember that writing that book was rather like writing this one. I was so deep in the desert and my imaginary world that I would find myself blinking in the school playground at 3.15pm as I struggled back to reality.
Some of my fab readers are asking about the end!
No spoilers, if you haven't read it, just to say I promise it was for a reason. That reason is, that in April there is a new four book series beginning called Dark Hearted Desert Men, featuring four fabulous heroes, and any questions you have will be more than satisfactorily answered. In fact, you may find yourself asking a whole new set of questions!
So watch out for The Dark Hearted Desert Men, commencing in April with my book Wedlocked: Banished Sheikh, Untouched Queen, to be followed by stories from Jennie Lucas, Trish Morey and Annie West. We are all more than a little bit excited about this new series!
I promised a little give away, so, either leave a comment, or sign up for newsletter and this time next week I shall get one of the kids to cover eyes and point a finger - and I'll give away a couple of signed copies of the final Karedes and, hot off the press, the first of the Dark Hearted Desert Men series.
Love to all

Gosh!
There goes a New Year Resolution………… what happened to the weekly posts that were going to herald the start of the Twenty Ten version of Carol?
Well, in my defense, it is still school holidays in Australia and My New Routine can't really start till they are safely back at school and, of course, I have a book due.
Still, I am getting excited because my first ever Sheikh has just started hitting the shelves in the US.

The Desert Kings Housekeeper Bride is the final book in the Royal House of Karedes series. I love the hero, Zakari, and I hope you will too
It was a wonderful continuity to work on - and rather daunting as some of my all time favorite authors were in it.
Next week I am going to sit down and do a proper post about writing my first Sheikh and I also have exciting news about a new series that follows on from it. I will also, to make up for being so slack with my resolution, sort out a little give away. I have had a couple of copies of the first book in the next series arrive and I am bursting to tell you- so, pop back in a week or so, when I am sane again and I shall you more about the lovely Zakari (and if you have read it, can you guess the bit I couldn't stop blushing and laughing at - poor Effie!).
For now, I hope you all have a lovely week.

I love Christmas but New Years Eve is the one that brings a big lump to my throat. It is, for me, the most special, magical of times and one where I generally buy my new diary and make endless lists, telling myself that if I do this, or I don't do that - then everything will be perfect.
