Billionaire Doctor

October Already!

As strange and isolating as this year has been, I’ve found it to be going by so quickly! I know we are all dealing with this strange new world in our own different way. For me it is reading and, thankfully, writing. It is nice to escape to a world I’ve made up and where I can ensure a happy ending for all (even if it doesn’t seem so in the midst of writing it).

We are still in lockdown in Melbourne and I am using my one hour of exercise time to walk and also to do C25K (A running program to go from couch to 5km). I use the running term very loosely – mine is a very slow, very breathless jog! Last year I ran with my daughter along The Great Ocean Road. It was such a nice event and we were supposed to be doing it again this year (the plan for me to be faster and less red) but then the world went crazy and I let things slide. I’ve had to start right back at the beginning and so am again red and breathless, but hopefully we’ll get to do the run another time. It is nice to get out in the fresh air for a little while. When I walk I love thinking about my plot or just watching the birds. It is spring here in Australia and that means the magpies are swooping. So far I’ve been lucky, but I think that is because I feed them minced meat in the morning and they know better than to upset me!

In book news I have just re-issued one of my books – Billionaire Doctor (previously Billionaire Doctor, Ordinary Nurse) and I hope it might give you a much needed smile. As some of my readers will know I wrote a series of sexy Russians – the first was called Expecting His Love Child. I write for two lines for Harlequin and what some of you may not know is that my Medical Romances are just as sexy as my Modern/Presents!

Levander Kolovsky (the hero in Expecting His Love Child) had a couple of brothers and a sister. One brother, Iosef, as well as being a sexy billionaire, is also a doctor. His parents rather frown on it as they consider a career in medicine too normal for a Kolovsky haha.

Well, to add to the mix along came Annie Jameson. She is a very normal, slightly neurotic  nurse who works in Accident and Emergency. She’s gorgeous and funny and completely unprepared for the new doctor sitting in the staff-room ….

Slate-grey, almost black, and rather reprobate eyes held hers for just a second, that tiny second where you looked and he looked and it was just a tiny bit too long to be called polite, just that tiny fraction long enough to know that you were definitely female and he was definitely male—and both of you have noticed.

Her heart rate had only just recovered from her workout and now here it was edging over the 100 mark again.

If you do read it then I hope you enjoy Annie and Iosef’s story.

Please take care and look after yourself during these strange times.
