a little bit about me.........
Well, here I am with my very own website - which means I've finally succumbed and now have another baby to take care of, or feel guilty for neglecting
I was born in London where I did my nursing training, then I came to Australia for a holiday... I now live in Melbourne's outer suburbs with my 3 fab children, one needy cat and one even needier dog. I'm a Taurus but I think I'm more a Gemini. My mum and sisters are in the UK. I miss them every day and always will, but we speak all the time on the phone and lie convincingly about our... weight, gym attendances, caffeine intake, carbs (the list goes on) - the usual stuff .
Nursing was my first love but I always hankered towards writing romance and was lucky enough to have my first book accepted by Harlequin Mills and Boon in 2000. I write for both the Medical and Modern/Sexy/Presents lines (depending which country you're reading this from). I have two other half written, often thought about stories that live in my head and on my computer called Redhead and Goldfish that I fiddle with now and then. There is a third but it doesn't have a name yet.

Writing, I have decided, is the perfect job for me because I worry about EVERYTHING (honestly). Give me a straightforward problem and I can in a matter of minutes think of a zillion things that could go wrong - so now I put that energy to good use and worry about my heroes and heroines and am in the enviable position of being able to ensure a good outcome.
Real life, of course is never quite as assured - but I'll just blog about that, rather than explain it.
